“+Even When He Is Silent (2012) by Kim Andre' Arnesen" a work premiered by the St. Olaf Choir. Anthem Notes

This is a work about hope in the darkest time of life. The text was found on a wall at a concentration camp after World War 2 and was written by a prisoner.

"I believe in the sun, Even when it is not shining.
I believe in love, even when I feel it not.
I believe in God, even when he is silent."
