        Worked as a free-lance musician playing church orchestra jobs, substituting for choir directors on vacation, and serving as a short term interim music director for area churches between 1999 to 2003.

        Organized, promoted, and coordinated three regional hymn sings throughout Kentucky to introduce The Baptist Hymnal (1991) to Kentucky Baptists.  Involved in planning the services, enlisting mass choir and orchestra, pianist and organist, and guest music leaders for each event.

        Staged church’s first music drama resulting in two fully staged drama productions being conducted each year afterwards.

        Led music committee to organize fundraising program to purchase new hymnals to revitalize participation in congregational singing.

        Coordinated children’s choirs for age four through grade six. Directed Young Musicians choir (grades four to six).

        Assigned on one hour’s notice to lead full day of concert band rehearsals in Bandmaster’s absence.  This led to opportunity to rehearse and conduct concert band on several occasions including concert given at formal dinner for foreign military dignitaries.
