Choir Mission Statement

"Providing quality choral experiences and educational opportunities to the community since 1968"

Hello, Singers.

  • Choir rehearsals will resume on Monday Sept, 14.   We welcome anyone who wishes to sing to join us.  Just come to the Trinity Methodist Church in Lapeer at 6:30 pm to register and get your music.  Rehearsals start at 7:00.

Another exciting year is ahead of us:  Our Christmas Concert, “Portrait of a Manger” featuring the Pergolesi “Magnificat”, will coincide with the Lapeer WinterFest; we will once again collaborate with the Lapeer Symphony Orchestra; and we will participate in the Flint Festival of Choirs again in March.  Our spring concert will not only include the music learned for the Flint Festival of Choirs performance, we will also present a medley of music by Richard Rogers.

Evelyn has to take the Fall Season off to handle some family issues, but we plan to have her back again in the winter.  We will have a temporary accompanist in her absence.  Please keep her in your prayers.

Website Information

Welcome to the Choir Members Website.

Every member needs to go to "" and become a registered user.

When you create a login, you will have an opportunity to add a lot of detail about yourself that is interesting (and visible) to all the other choir members.  You may find friends on the other side of the group that has similar interests (besides singing).

Some very useful parts of the site are:

  • The “Members List” shows all the choir members that are registered. Please add as much detail as you wish to your profile.  It adds a lot to the program as other members can get to know you better.
  • The “Choir Forum” is an important place for receiving information from the Director.   All registered members will receive an email notification if any post from Garth is made in this category.
  • The “Choir Image Archive” has images from past concerts and events.  Any member can post an image.

Please become a “registered member” of our Choir and use the site as a great source of communication by going to "".
