The Lapeer County Concert Choir

The Lapeer County Concert Choir has been performing since 1968, known for its performances of large sacred works such as Bach's "Magnificat", Handel's "Messiah", Rutter's "Requiem", and Mozart's "Regina Coeli".

As the choir moves toward its 51th year, the goal remains to promote the advancement of choral music, and reveal the healing power of voices united in song.

If you wish to join us, we rehearse on Monday nights in Lapeer at the Trinity Methodist Church.

From our Director Edward Howell :
"I am looking forward to things coming together for the LCCC to resume rehearsals for the fall.  Music has been ordered for the 2021 season  and I just finished up tonight putting together a projected 2022 spring concert program."

The Lapeer County Concert Choir will resume rehearsals for its 2021 Fall Season starting on Monday, September 13, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapeer. Our fall concert program title is "Christmas-My Favorite Things." Choir membership, new and returning, requires a vocal interview in which each singer must successfully sing unaccompanied "My Country 'Tis of Thee" in a key appropriate for their voice part to sing with the choir. For more information contact me.
