The Lapeer County Concert Choir

The Lapeer County Concert Choir has been performing since 1968, known for its performances of large sacred works such as Bach's "Magnificat", Handel's "Messiah", Rutter's "Requiem", and Mozart's "Regina Coeli".

As the choir moves toward its 50th year, the goal remains to promote the advancement of choral music, and reveal the healing power of voices united in song.

If you wish to join us, we rehearse on Monday nights in Lapeer at the Trinity Methodist Church.

Join Us for a Summer Concert

In the Audience or Singing with Us!

Thursday evening, July 26

Dear LCCC Family, current, former, and inactive members, we have a wonderful opportunity this summer to get together and sing for the Downtown Lapeer Summer Concert Series.  We have been invited to sing on Thursday evening, July 26, at the farmer’s market pavilion downtown.

In preparation for this concert we will meet the three Monday nights, July 9, 16, and 23, leading up to the event to rehearse, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Trinity Methodist Church, in Lapeer.  It will be a fun evening of singing various types of music, folk/popular, sacred, and patriotic.

I would like to invite you to sing with the LCCC for this short-term commitment.  To help you prepare for your participation we will make the music available to you in advance of the first rehearsal.  The folders will be available to  pick up on Monday evening, June 25, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the back parking lot of Trinity Methodist Church and immediately before our first rehearsal on Monday, July 9.  Our webmaster and wizard, Bill Schnute, will post recordings of our summer concert selections for you to preview and use to prepare for our first rehearsal together.

I look forward to you participating in our summer concert and seeing you at the first rehearsal on Monday, July 9, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  If you have any questions send me an email, , or a text,
