The Lapeer County Concert Choir

The Lapeer County Concert Choir has been performing since 1968, known for its performances of large sacred works such as Bach's "Magnificat", Handel's "Messiah", Rutter's "Requiem", and Mozart's "Regina Coeli".

As the choir moves toward its 51th year, the goal remains to promote the advancement of choral music, and reveal the healing power of voices united in song.

If you wish to join us, we rehearse on Monday nights in Lapeer at the Trinity Methodist Church.

Stonegate Festival of Lights Celebration3

The Lapeer County Concert Choir will be participating in the “First Annual Festival of Lights Celebration” sponsored by Stonegate Health Campus in Lapeer.

This community wide event will take place on Thursday evening, December 13, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Stonegate Health Campus.  The goal for the evening is to raise $3,500 for the Sunrise Kiwanas Back Pack Program which provides weekend meals to school aged children dependent upon school breakfast and lunch programs.

Local businesses and individuals are invited to purchase and decorate a Christmas wreath or tree and donate it to this event.  The trees will be displayed earlier in the week and then raffled off during the Thursday evening’s festivities and celebration.

The Lapeer County Concert Choir will be providing a variety of Christmas music throughout the evening in support of the “First Annual Festival of Lights Celebration.”.
